White Water Rafting
Cloaked in the lush tropical rain forest of Fiji’s remote highlands, you can discover one of the most unique river trips on earth.
Numerous waterfalls spill into the remarkable canyons of the Namosi. Valley creating exciting class II-III white water river rapids. Rivers Fiji will take you through some of the country’s most formidable and phenomenally beautiful terrain and with several tours on offer and a choice of a single kayak, group raft ride, or sea kayaking there’s something for everyone.
Trips last approximately 12 hours and include:
Transfers to / from the Upper Navua River, morning snack, riverside deli lunch, village visit with afternoon refreshments.
Minimum age: 8 years. Level of fitness required: Moderate
Shark Diving / Coral Diving
Diving at The Pearl Resort & Spa is available through Aquatrek, located on-site. Offering a wide range of diving experiences and fully certified PADI dive courses, you can explore the world famous Beqa lagoon in which you will discover amazing soft corals, captivating wrecks, vibrant coral reefs and the famous Shark Dive!
Jet Ski Safari
Take a self–drive tour and circumnavigate spectacular Beqa Island or just enjoy the thrill of the ride. The modern Yamaha VX700 Jet Skis comfortably carry two passengers. Snorkeling gear is provided along with a complementary lunch.
The world-class Frigates Passage is just 12 miles offshore from The Pearl Resort. Commonly known as Fiji’s “Pipeline”, Frigates is an exposed left hand barrel wave that picks up every ounce of energy from the southern ocean. It one of the longest waves in Fiji, breaking for over 100m when lining up properly with a W-SSW swell and NE – E wind. As a reef based break, it is not suitable for the amateur surfer.
Trips to the break can be organised with the resort.
*Surfers must be experienced and provide their own surfboards.
Zip Lining
Zip Fiji is located 25 minutes from The Pearl Resort. Trained guides assist you to fly through the rainforest canopy over a 2km course of 8 zip lines. The tour operates in almost all weather conditions and includes transfers and light refreshments.
Fishing / Game Fishing
The Beqa Lagoon and its outlying areas provide for some of the most diverse fishing found anywhere, so all skill levels can have fun here. Down Time Adventures are based on-site and offer a wide range of fishing styles and options with as much, or as little guidance as you require.
Island Day Trip
Full day island visits to Yanuca depart from The Pearl Resort marina. Pacific Harbour Ocean & Island Excursions are based on-site for your convenience and tours include snorkeling from the sandy beach (equipment provided) sea kayaking and SUP-ing, games, optional jungle trek to Lookout Cove, authentic kava ceremony and a tasty lovo (traditional earth oven) feast.
Snorkel Tours
Explore the vibrant reefs of nearby Combe Reef with our on-site tour operator. Sit back and enjoy the spectacular views as you cruise out to the reef before being led by experienced guides over the colourful coral haven where you will see many of the ocean’s favourites from starfish to turtles and everything in between – you may even find Nemo!
Off-Road Driving & Waterfall Tour
Terratrek offers a self-drive guided tour into the hilly interior of Pacific Harbour. Accommodating groups of up to 16 (two per buggy) the tour lasts approximately 4 hours and includes an easy 15-minute hike through the rainforest canopy to a beautiful clearing with waterfalls and clear fresh water pools. You’ll be served a picnic lunch before starting the fun drive home, complete with ocean views.

Paddle Board
Whether you are novice or a pro, prefer to paddle up river or out to sea, our paddleboards are available for hire and highly recommended as an alternative to the gym!
Our state of the art gym is open to residents only and includes everything you need for a full body workout.
Located in a tranquil setting overlooking a beautiful lily pond, the gym is air-conditioned for your comfort and fully equipped with the latest cardio and resistance machines including treadmills, elliptical trainers, free weights and bench press.
Please note: our gym is for guests over the age of 16.
GOLF
The Pearl Golf & Country Club is set among lush tropical rainforests and winding canals. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, the 18 hole, par-72 Golf Course opened in 1978 and remains one of the most adventurous Fiji golf courses.
The Pearl Golf Course and Country Club has staged a number of prestigious Fiji golf tournaments such as the World Amateur Championships, where Gregg Norman won his first title in 1978.
This exotic course provides year-round golfing and a practice driving range. You’ll face a variety of challenges throughout the 6285-metre course comprising adjacent rivers, deep bunkers and picturesque fresh water lily ponds, testing your skills against water hazards on no fewer than 12 of the 18 holes.
A newly renovated Clubhouse supports the Pearl Golf Course. Here you will find a range of facilities that include a well stocked pro shop, secure locker room, car park, bar and swimming pool – everything you’ll need before and after your game, conveniently located under one roof. Golfers can expect excellence in food and beverage delivery, an exquisite location and surrounds and exceptional service throughout.

For culture lovers the Arts Village & Cultural Centre, just 5 minutes from the hotel, offers one of Fiji’s best cultural performances and traditional art and craft shops, boutiques and cafes. Visitors are able to interact and learn about Fiji’s arts and customs through tours of the recreated traditional Fijian village. The tour ends with a spectacular meke (dance) and fire walking show that includes the phenomenal Beqa Firewalkers.
We also offer day trips to the nearby idyllic islands of Beqa and Yanuca where you can experience the true essence of island living in an authentic Fijian village.
