Marriages in Fiji are recognised worldwide. All you need is the following:

• Passport (with valid visa)
• Birth certificate (original)
• Divorce papers (if previously divorced)
• Death certificate (original) – if previous spouse passed away
• If the bride is under 21, letter from parents consenting to marriage
• Occupations and residential addresses
• Witnesses names

The above needs to be forwarded to the Minister (via Hotel) at least 4 weeks prior to the ceremony, in order for the application to be lodged and processed.
